Feast of St.Timothy and St. Titus

January 27th was the feast of Saints Timothy and Titus. Both of them were taught and encouraged by St. Paul. In the New Testament, there are three books of the Bible, Timothy I and II and Titus which are thought to be letters and instructions from St. Paul to Timothy and Titus. St. Paul saw the talents of each of these men and encouraged them. In honor of their feast day, we decided to go around the table and discuss the gifts that God has given to each of us. We each had to say one gift that God gave us and then everybody said a gift that they see in us. Here is what we came up with:

Prez says: "God gave me the gift to eat food really fast."
We all said: "He is great at cheering people up, he loves life, and he has awesome fine motor skills which means he can draw really well."

Bubbles says: "God gave me the gift of drawing well."
We all said: "She is terrific at puzzles, extremely helpful, and unbelievably patient."

Hubby says: "God gave me the gift of empathy."
We all said: "He is an extremely hard worker, he has a fun attitude with lots of good ideas for doing things, he is creative and resourceful."

Mom says: "God gave me the gift of making friends easily."
They all said: "God gave you the gift of having babies, patience, and joyful service or silent suffering whichever the case may be."
