I almost forgot.....

We had a most spectacular surprise when Barbie's dad arrived in town on business and met us at the water park. He then proceeded to treat us all to his amazing company as well as some fantastic Bar-B-Que. It just felt like old times, only better!

"Ding-Dong, the witch is dead !"
"Oh, no, Toto. We're not in Georgia anymore."

Full hearts and full bellies. Who wouldn't be smilin'?

We are smiling, but in all truth, we're STARVING!
Actually, their new obsession was a Madlibs book we bought at the Six Floor Museum. You can sort of see it in Tater's hands. That's probably the reason they're smiling.

No.....food......must.......sleep........

All's well that ends well.

Vacation--Day Four

Agenda: Visit the Sixth Floor Museum (where President Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas) and go to Great Wolf Lodge--huge indoor water park and hotel.

Barbie and I outside the grassy knoll in Dallas. Behind us is the exact spot where President Kennedy's motorcade passed and all chaos broke out. There are big Xs on the road which can't be seen in this picture.

Barbie and I in Berlin, just weeks after the Berlin Wall fell (1991). Yes, we both have pieces we collected, which in the beginning could be taken by anyone. How cool is it, the places we have seen and been? :)

Picture perfect.....
A little crazy.....
Sunshine at Great Wolf Lodge.

Bubbles and Tater about to get drenched by a HUGE bucket of water.

All smiles here.
Just hours before her birthday, Bubbles celebrates early with a dish of Dippin' Dots.

Tickets, tickets, tickets....
More craziness here...I'm sensing a habit. Look at poor Sweetness--completely passed out!

One random shot of Sweetness--completely exhausted. I guess four days is her limit! ;)

Vacation--Day Three

Agenda: Enjoy the GREAT outdoors and each other. Oh yes, and try not to put somebody's eye out.

Our day consisted of grillin', putt-putt, archery, hiking, building a fort in the woods, and visiting a historical Civil War house. The boys joined us for a few things then decided to hit the gun range. Yeah, I guess I'll keep the pun. :)

Tater on the first attempt! AWESOME!

"I think I've got it" manages Sunshine.

Did anybody see where that arrow went?

Do we have an archer in the house?

Stylin' and scorin'-- well, at least half of them did. :)

What else would expect from the resident bug guy? Don't you just love the furrowed brow?

These guys are making it worth the wait.....chicken fajitas with a little TLC or was that DosXX? Delicious!

This picture sums up these two characters!

Can you feel the love?

On our way to the Waterfall Trail.

Tater thinking: Please go in, please go in......no, seriously, go in.

I'd say that vacation looks good on them.

Sunshine waits her turn while down below, Dad is waiting his turn. I guess when you're that good, you just sit back and let others knock the ball around.

Vacation--Day Two

Agenda: Keep dry from the pouring rain. So, we ended up going to the Children's Museum and oddly enough, I have no pictures from that adventure. For your viewing pleasure though, here is a montage of photos from the past and present.

Even though the years can change us, it can't change us. You know what I mean?
Barbie visits me in college and we do what college kids do best---eat out!

Barbie and I at EuroDisney during our last years in Europe. DisneyWorld was much better, but how can you not have fun in France?

Still hugging after all this time.

Barbie holding Bubbles when she came to visit and help out.

Barbie holding Sweetness, when she came to visit and help out, the second time! ;)

Vacation--Day One

Agenda: Horseback Riding and Fishing
on my Uncle's GORGEOUS 30 acre PARADISE!

Barbie holds the fish--you go, girl!

Posing with the catch of the day and looking stellar!

"Whoa!" says Prez.

Here is Prez, looking like a country boy.
A Mother/Daughter moment.
Here's the right way to cast off.
Sunshine leads the way and the horse.
Tater and Sunshine.
Loving it, Sunshine?
I
Is this kid a natural or what?
I think we need a taller horse for Bubbles!

Twenty-one years and counting.....

I would like to happily introduce my best friend, since I was fourteen years old, and her beautiful family. They honored us with their company this past week (their Spring Break) and we have 162 pictures to prove that we lived every minute to the fullest. So, here's introducing......Ken and Barbie---don't hate me for saying that, you know it's true! :)

Tater---future Taylor Swift in the music industry

Sunshine---future Teacher of the Year, if she wraps herself in a bubble and manages to survive her self imposed injuries.

I will post more pictures with details of our fantastic week as soon as possible.
