Mini camp

God's heart is always with the little ones and so here is a display of the mercy of the Father. Knowing that Prez was sad and lonely without big sis, we received a phone call from my aunt that her grandkids were coming for a visit. Luckily for us, we live about 40 minutes from her. My cousin's oldest is only three months younger than Prez and her youngest is our goddaughter. They still live in the city that we just moved from, so these two clowns have missed each other. Yesterday and today and still even tomorrow (3 day "half camp" seems just right for a four year old) we have spent time together.

Now, you may be asking yourself why they are in a watering trough for horses. Great question.

Awwww. How cute. Apparently the bunnies are too fast to catch now, so this allowed them to play for an extended time.

In this heat (95 degrees), swimming is a necessity if you are going to be outside.

When that gets boring, you can always go for a spin in the sprinkler.

This last picture was a bonus for Prez. Our neighbor had her granddaughter in town and she stopped by to take him on a deer sighting, pine cone picking tour. It was a success.

So, although I have not achieved much on my to do list, I sleep with a contented heart knowing the kids are having an excellent start to their summer.
