Well, tomorrow (Monday, the 22nd) will be our first day of school! I'm still up finishing last minute things and we're all pretty excited for school, but sad that summer is officially over.
With basically an entire summer of temperatures over 100 (so many of them 110 degree days), it felt like a wasted summer. The few times we risked getting out to the pool, it felt like getting into a big pot of stew. So, we lament the passage of what was supposed to be ideal.
Well, say a prayer for
us me. I'll have an infant, a kindergartener, and a sixth grader! All I can say is, "Jesus, I trust in You."
