Making Valentines

This may not seem like much of a valentine, but that is because you haven't pulled on the tab.
OOOHHHH, AAAAHHHH, it's magic!
Pretty unique, right?
Might you need another example?
WOW! It just doesn't get old.

However, it does get time consuming. We wanted to make 10 "unique" valentines for our neighbors and adopted grandparents from church. After I spent way too much time cutting black paper, tri-folding it, cutting out the middle, cutting white index cards, and cutting plastic cover sheets (which I used from baseball card protectors), the kids came in and drew designs that were so intricate they couldn't trace them very well and grew weary of coloring.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, Hubby called me into the office to "proof" the valentines the kids are to be giving to their friends at the Saint Valentine party. We decided to order a few extra (because they're so STINKIN' cute) to hand out to the neighbors. Why o' why couldn't I have thought of that earlier! Boo Hoo.

Awesome, right?
Well, I copied the idea from here!
It seems however, that we were not the only ones who had valentine cards on their mind. My amazing aunt sent each of the kids a card. Prez, who "....never gets mail." was walking on air and Bubbles, who "still can't believe she thought of us." was so touched. Sweetness loved the opportunity to rip paper. :) We are so LOVED or is it that we are so LOVABLE? ? ?
